Mechanic - Water/Wastewater Systems Specialist

Job Summary:
Weston & Sampson is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in the Cape Cod region. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment in water/wastewater pump stations and treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain wastewater/water pump stations and treatment facility equipment
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of pump controls and basic electrical knowledge
- Active participant in the installation and construction of new equipment and pump stations
- Perform maintenance, repair, and new installation of PVC, and ductile iron piping and valves
- Provide customer service in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with mechanical repairs
- Strong interpersonal skills, including writing and verbal communication
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
- Ability to organize, manage, and coordinate multiple assignments
- Computer skills including a Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder, minimum of 15 feet
- Valid Driver's License
