Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Plymouth, MA Wastewater Treatment Facility and Collection System, ensuring 100% compliance through daily process monitoring and comprehensive maintenance.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for plant coverage outside normal workday hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Perform daily rounds, laboratory analysis, record keeping, process control, sludge thickening, maintenance projects, and general facility and grounds maintenance.

Requirements
  • Valid Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Plant Grade 3 Certification.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other personnel, and the general public.
  • Familiarity with computers, including Excel, Word, and HACH WIMS, for report generation.
