Family Support Specialist

About the Role:
Bay State Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Family Support Specialist to join our team. As a Family Support Specialist, you will work with caregivers whose children have social/emotional challenges, providing impartial support, education, and empathy while assisting them in navigating child-serving systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist caregivers with meeting the needs of their youth and provide education on navigating child-serving systems.
- Work with a team of supports and providers to meet the needs of the youth and family.
- Provide coaching, modeling, and guiding to caregivers to support their children's well-being.
Requirements:
- Experience as a parent/legal guardian/foster parent of a youth with special needs.
- At least one year of professional experience within the Social Services field.
