Job Overview

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to enhance our imaging services. We are committed to redefining radiology, making it an essential part of accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. As an MRI Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to operate MRI scanners to capture detailed images of patients' bodies for diagnostic evaluation.

This role requires a patient-centered approach, ensuring that you deliver MRI services in accordance with professional standards while providing exceptional customer service. You will support patients throughout their imaging experience, addressing their questions and concerns with empathy and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

  • Conduct thorough patient screenings prior to examinations, utilizing two identifiers to confirm patient identity and procedure.
  • Clearly explain MRI procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the process and are comfortably positioned for optimal imaging.
  • Perform both routine and advanced MRI scans on specified body areas, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions with minimal supervision.
  • Adjust MRI scanning parameters as necessary to achieve high-quality images.
  • Foster positive working relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
  • Adhere strictly to physician directives and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Keep the work environment organized and clean, promoting safety for all.
  • Ensure compliance with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
  • Regularly clean and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
  • Uphold all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

(5%) MRI Department Support

  • Assist in the upkeep of the imaging protocol manual and implement software updates as needed.
  • Monitor and manage medical supply inventory, placing orders as required.
  • Support the training of new staff, providing guidance and technical expertise.

(5%) Additional Responsibilities

  • Complete other tasks as assigned to support departmental operations.
