Job Title: Bilingual Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Bilingual Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, work collaboratively with the healthcare team, and promote a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a bilingual setting.
  • Participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel.
  • Assume relief charge duties when designated.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a hospital setting, with exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials. The physical demands of this position include heavy work, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
