Bilingual Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with various cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Provide emotional support and act as an advocate for patients and their families, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, therapy sessions, and education.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional growth and development, staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in mental health nursing.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for reciprocal agreement.
- 1 year of direct experience in mental health nursing, with a focus on working with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Bilingual English and Spanish language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
