Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Cardiac ICU team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Bilingual RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations.
  • Participate in orientation and precepting new personnel, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent and documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families, adhering to hospital standards.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification within 30 days.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
