We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. Job Summary:The Bilingual Registered Nurse will work in collaboration with the healthcare team to provide direct patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and participate in education and training programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, needs, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance professional growth and development.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure by reciprocal agreement.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
