Paylocity is a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions. We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Growth Market Account Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.
Job SummaryThe Growth Market Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new sales agreements for companies with up to 50 employees. This role requires a strong consultative approach, exceptional prospecting skills, and the ability to execute a consistent sales process.
Key Responsibilities- Determine prospective customers' needs for HR technology and present Paylocity's solutions to meet those needs in a specific geographic market.
- Prepare and present proposals and provide timely follow-up throughout the sales process.
- Complete and obtain documentation required for the conversion of data from the company's previous payroll provider to the Paylocity system.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition to Paylocity.
- Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, professional and personal contacts, and other sources.
- Build relationships with CPA's and maintain existing CPA relationships.
- Attend Paylocity-sponsored trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quota for the territory.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales position.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory and meet prospects in person.
- Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
- Ability to maintain high activity standards.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills required to handle objections and unexpected situations.
- Customer service orientation.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.
