Job Summary:
The Director of Sales will be in charge of leading and guiding the sales team dedicated to collaborating with major clients. This role involves crafting and implementing strategic plans, spotting new business opportunities, and boosting revenue from existing accounts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to enhance growth in client accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to pinpoint fresh business opportunities and foster connections with new clients.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with various departments like marketing, product, and customer service to devise and implement plans that offer value to customers.
- Analyze and track performance data to consistently enhance sales strategies and tactics.
- Lead and nurture the current sales team by handling tasks such as recruitment, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in the interior design and construction industry.

- Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate agreements between diverse parties.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines consistently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle issues promptly and positively.
- Ownership of responsibilities and effective management of interpersonal relationships.
- Familiarity with industry principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Outstanding managerial, supervisory, and leadership abilities. Capable of inspiring and developing others.
- Sharp strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a track record of creating and executing plans in dynamic, high-growth environments.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Advanced Excel.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Thorough understanding of construction trades pricing structure and bids/contract management.
- SAP Experience.
Physical Demands:
Sitting continuously for 8+ hours.
Work Conditions:
Travel up to 50% required.
Work Environment: Office or Design Center.
Equipment: Computer, phone, printer, and other office supplies.
