Position Summary

The Local Advertising Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth across NBCUniversal's local OTT and digital platforms. This includes leveraging our extensive ad products and major events to create tailored solutions that meet client needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Revenue Development: Cultivate both general and Hispanic market sales revenue from new advertisers while maximizing existing accounts to achieve defined revenue targets.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and advertisers, guiding them through the entire sales process from proposal development to invoicing.
  • Consultative Selling: Create and deliver impactful sales presentations that highlight NBCUniversal's diverse portfolio, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Creative Solutions, Marketing, and Research, to ensure seamless execution of advertising solutions.
  • Market Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of NBCUniversal's offerings, including Telemundo and digital platforms like Peacock, to effectively promote our products.
  • Networking: Utilize industry events and professional networks to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on market trends and share insights with the team to enhance our competitive edge.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in advertising sales or media, with a strong understanding of both linear and digital markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
