Job Title: HR Coordinator - Safety and Worker's CompensationJob Summary:

EAH Housing is seeking an HR Coordinator - Safety and Worker's Compensation to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims, temporary alternative work programs, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage workers' compensation claims, including reporting injuries, reviewing documentation, and communicating with injured employees.
  • Administer temporary alternative work programs, including identifying modified work assignments and issuing timely offers of modified work.
  • Support the Safety Manager in promoting a safe and healthy work environment, including ensuring compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Track safety and workers' compensation results and produce reports as needed.
  • Assist with ad-hoc day-to-day administrative tasks, including pandemic response and contact tracing.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • 1-2 years' office work experience, preferably in occupational health and safety.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
