Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant to support our 3 person HR Team on a large HR file/audit project. The ideal candidate will have prior human resources experience and be able to work independently.

The HR Assistant will be responsible for leading a departmental audit/review of all employee paper files, data entry into database for various employee training/tracking initiatives, assisting in the development of streamlining file processes, auditing/purging sensitive employee paper files, and I-9 auditing.

The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, exemplary verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a departmental audit/review of all employee paper files
  • Data entry into database for various employee training/tracking initiatives
  • Assist in the development of streamlining file processes
  • Audit/purge sensitive employee paper files
  • I-9 auditing

Requirements:

  • 2+ years recent prior exposure to and/or experience working in Human Resources
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, exemplary verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, excellent general clerical skills
