Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Leader to join our team at JW Marriott Washington DC. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Supervise and manage a team of front desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to handle all guest inquiries and requests.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest services.
  • Monitor and analyze front office operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and front office procedures, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
