Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at JW Marriott Washington DC. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis.
  • Direct and work with managers and employees to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check-in and check-out process.
  • Ensure guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and increase revenue.
  • Supervise and manage employees, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area preferred.
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Marriott offers a competitive salary range of $66,000 to $82,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
