Job Overview

BIA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business intelligence team, you will be responsible for directing all aspects of assigned intelligence collection due diligence projects on behalf of investment firm clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project objectives to meet client intelligence requirements.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify prospective intelligence sources.
  • Collect and report intelligence with objectivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client portfolio managers and analysts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert insights to clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in intelligence collection or commercial due diligence.
  • Practical experience with the private sector, in one or more industries of interest to the investment community.
  • Familiarity with company financial reporting and SEC filings.
  • Experience with SmartSheet, LexisNexis & Westlaw preferred.
  • Familiarity and comfort with cold calling.

  • Aptitude for understanding complex corporate technical, operational, and financial issues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, versatility, and a willingness to develop expertise quickly on unfamiliar business sectors and companies.
