About the Role:
Amazon is on the lookout for a seasoned and driven communications expert to spearhead public relations for its innovative low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite project, known as Project Kuiper.

This position presents a rare chance to influence the communications strategy for one of Amazon's most groundbreaking initiatives, with the potential to create a meaningful and enduring impact on customers and communities globally.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Communications Lead for Project Kuiper, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for our primary product and service offerings.
  • Enhance awareness of Kuiper among target customers, supporting strategic go-to-market (GTM) initiatives for both consumer and enterprise services.
  • Facilitate customer storytelling across various sectors, including enterprise, mobility, and telecommunications.
  • Craft compelling messaging, execute impactful campaigns, and establish robust media relationships to amplify our reach.
  • Collaborate closely with business, product, sales, and marketing teams to navigate the overall GTM process.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in communications or public relations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills:
Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience managing end-to-end product communications, including announcements and launches.
  • Familiarity with consumer and/or enterprise technology sectors.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications, space, or satellite industries.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US regions. The base salary for this position ranges from $114,000 to $188,500, depending on geographic location and individual qualifications.

Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full suite of medical and financial benefits.
