We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our Test and Verification Services team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our satellite systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve test procedures to ensure efficient and effective testing of our satellite systems.
  • Perform test campaigns using manual and automated test procedures, analyzing results and generating reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate test results and findings to management and stakeholders, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Lead meetings with sub-contractors and customers to discuss test results and progress.
  • Identify and document defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement fixes.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of our satellite systems.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in software testing, with a degree in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Physics, Computing, Networking, etc.).
  • Experience testing user interfaces (UI/UX) and using test management tools (Jira, X-Ray).
  • Knowledge of test automation software (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin) and scripting languages (Python).
  • Previous experience in testing and/or fault analysis, with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles (Java, C++) and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Quality Assurance and Project Management experience.
  • Experience in testing within satellite systems or telecommunication networks.
  • Experience in API testing (Unit, Functional, Load Testing, etc.).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP-IP, DNS, DHCP, Network Routing, ICMP).
  • Experience using relational databases.
