Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team, responsible for developing and improving test procedures, performing test campaigns, and analyzing test results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing and verification, with experience in satellite systems and telecommunications networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve test procedures to ensure high-quality test results
  • Perform test campaigns using manual and automated test procedures, including testing of user interfaces and APIs
  • Analyze test results and generate reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to management and stakeholders
  • Lead meetings with sub-contractors and customers to discuss test results and plans
  • Identify and document defects, and escalate to relevant parties as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement test automation solutions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in testing and verification, with a strong background in satellite systems and telecommunications networks
  • Experience with test management tools, such as Jira and X-Ray
  • Knowledge of test automation software, including Selenium and Cucumber
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel internationally, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with quality assurance and project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP-IP, DNS, DHCP, and network routing
  • Experience with relational databases and data analysis
