Aon is seeking a Vice President of Global Employee Benefits

This exceptional opportunity provides a diverse range of projects and client interactions. The primary responsibilities of the chosen candidate will encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Global Benefits Advisory: The candidate will be expected to counsel senior global HR executives on various international employee benefits issues, including benefits strategy, audits, benchmarking, market entry, mergers and acquisitions, multinational pooling, governance, risk management, global defined contribution consulting, and other pertinent deliverables and initiatives with minimal oversight. The candidate will manage both strategic and operational engagement with assigned clients while coordinating the efforts of a multidisciplinary team of consultants across multiple regions. The candidate will guide internal resources in the development and implementation of suitable solutions for clients and prospects.
  • Business Development - The candidate will be responsible for enhancing existing client revenue by identifying and securing new global benefits projects and cross-selling opportunities with other Aon divisions. This role involves building, nurturing, and managing a consistent pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities, including regular engagement with a sales tracking system.
  • Client Relationship Management - The candidate will utilize their strong business insight to cultivate and sustain robust relationships with senior client stakeholders while delivering global benefits technical expertise. Internally, the candidate will act as a project management lead, overseeing fee structures, invoice management, revenue forecasting, team optimization, and service escalations.
  • Knowledge Development and Training - The candidate is expected to leverage their expertise in global benefits as a leader or member of specialized project teams or subject matter expert groups. The ideal candidate will also mentor and train junior team members to aid in their professional growth and enhance their understanding of global benefits and consulting practices.
  • Communication Proficiency - The candidate must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities. The candidate should be adept at collaborating with a diverse array of Aon team members, engaging with extended client teams, or working independently based on project requirements.
Qualifications and Educational Background:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with 8 to 12 years of international or non-US benefits experience in an HR consulting or professional services environment.
  • Experience in international benefits consulting is highly preferred.

  • Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, economics, or related fields emphasizing quantitative skills is advantageous
  • An advanced degree or project management certification is a plus

Compensation Transparency:

The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.
