Our applications span fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, carbon capture, geothermal power, and well stimulation.

As a pivotal member of the senior management team, the Senior Vice President of Global Operations will provide strategic leadership across operational and manufacturing functions worldwide. This role is critical in ensuring timely customer deliveries, managing supply chains, overseeing purchasing and inventory, and maintaining product quality assurance, all while aligning with the corporation's global initiatives.

This position will collaborate closely with Functional Unit leaders to achieve operational targets. Furthermore, the Senior Vice President will partner with the finance department to ensure profitability across all operations, fostering motivation and development within the workforce under their guidance. The role carries shared responsibility with Functional Unit Leaders and General Managers for the organization's profit and loss, refining manufacturing and operational processes to maximize output and create synergies.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this position also maintains a matrixed relationship with Functional Unit Presidents and General Managers concerning production across global operations. This senior role emphasizes delivering operational excellence through an efficient, effective, and agile organizational structure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full functional accountability for policies, processes, and structural definitions globally, in alignment with Functional Unit objectives.
  • Legal Chairmanship of Nikkiso CE&IG International Product Companies as designated by the CEO.
  • Collaboration with Functional Unit Presidents and GMs to develop business strategies related to operations and planning.
  • Joint responsibility with Functional Unit Presidents, GMs, and the Finance Department for achieving annual budgets and forecasts for order intake and expenses.
  • Ensuring overall Profit and Loss and Profit Margins are met by focusing on utilization and absorption.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Maximizing customer value and satisfaction through effective solutions and commitment fulfillment.
  • Maintaining product and service quality, aiming for triple ISO certification.
  • Participating in regional strategic business development.
  • Playing a key role in expansion and consolidation activities, including investments and corporate alliances.
  • Promoting compliance with corporate culture and vision.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing employees while enhancing engagement and company culture.
  • Working with EVP HR on Talent Management Programs and succession planning.
  • Driving continuous improvement in internal processes across all production units.
  • Facilitating business automation and sharing best practices globally.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, management, or equivalent; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing/operations across multiple facilities, with a strong background in complex manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence through cost management, systems development, and process improvements.
  • Deep understanding of matrixed organizations and experience as a change agent.
  • Strong financial acumen with a solid grasp of P&Ls, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Exceptional leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, and retaining top talent.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market demands and strategic planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities and customer service orientation.
  • Experience in managing and developing direct reports in an internal production environment.

This role requires frequent international travel.
