Job Description

AON is seeking a highly skilled Global Benefits Assistant Vice President to support our Global Benefits Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned consultant to lead projects, client teams, and client relationships, while demonstrating strong leadership and performance in sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from start to finish, with minimal direction.
  • Meet financial targets for the respective role.
  • Operate as a client lead for small to mid-level clients and act as a major contributor to large clients, directing the efforts of others through project management.
  • Lead client teams in the completion of major renewal coordination milestones.
  • Monitor time spent and project budget.
  • Lead problem-solving and effective integration of solutions to problems.
  • Communicate with external parties to resolve issues and respond to larger inquiries.
  • Review and finalize client materials for global benefits projects.
  • Responsible for all consulting deliverables.
  • Conduct client meetings and present results as lead of a collaborative client service team, as appropriate.
  • Lead financial and strategic discussions with clients, as appropriate.
  • Frame results in context of the marketplace, as appropriate.
  • Anticipate and address client and team needs.
  • Influence client strategic and financial direction.
  • Begins to establish relationships in strategic.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years or more of direct experience recommended.
  • Bachelor's degree (business, mathematics, finance, economics, etc.).
  • Demonstrates advanced technical and consultative skills/expertise.
  • Demonstrates high-quality client interaction skills.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive sales/marketing skills.
  • Continues to develop the ability to expand existing and new business revenue goals.
  • Participates in training opportunities to remain current with regulatory environment.
  • Completes courses relevant to skills necessary for position.
  • Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology.
