Job Description

Maersk is seeking a highly skilled Project Delivery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope and Objectives: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Project Setup Process: Review project documents, contract information, and subcontractor quotes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Vendor Management: Manage outsourced vendors or contractors, negotiate contracts, and monitor service level agreement performance.
  • Portfolio Management: Drive the standardization and rationalization of the local portfolio of tech solutions, ensuring strong alignment with global standards.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Review and implement compliance procedures, tracking mechanisms, and contractual documentation to ensure compliance with local contracts and vendor SLAs.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget to run and maintain the IT Department portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the local point of coordination for all portfolio deployments across the region, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: University or higher vocational degree and certification in Information Technology, Business management, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum five (8) years of applicable and transferable knowledge and experience as a Project Manager, Service Delivery Manager, or PMO.
  • Transportation or Shipping Industry Experience: Required.
  • Certifications: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification preferred.
  • Operations & Technology Background: Strong operations & technology background, with specific exposure to the portfolio in operational domain.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Sound financial planning and analysis experience (TCO, costs/budgets management).
Pay Range:

$160,000 to $175,000

The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
