Job Summary:
The People Concern is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Project Based Housing to lead our Project Based Housing programs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical oversight to our programs, managing Assistant Directors and Program Managers, and working collaboratively with our Director of Housing Administration to build relationships with Housing Authorities and other funders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight: Provide administrative and clinical oversight to Project Based Housing programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Team Management: Manage Assistant Directors and Program Managers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the success of our programs.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Work collaboratively with our Director of Housing Administration to build and maintain relationships with Housing Authorities and other funders, ensuring access to resources and funding for our programs.
- Client Services: Provide direct oversight of client services, including case management, counseling, and support services, to ensure the highest level of care and support for our clients.
- Program Development: Develop and implement program strategies and initiatives to improve program outcomes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of our services.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Develop and submit reports to stakeholders, including funders, government agencies, and community partners, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Training and Professional Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality services to our clients.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Clinical License: Active clinical license and good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences for over 2 years.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in program management, clinical supervision, and team leadership, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of local and federal government benefits and entitlements, as well as experience with program development, implementation, and evaluation.

The Director, Project Based Housing will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to provide high-quality services to our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
