Key Responsibilities
  • Manage both internal and external sales of audiovisual technology for a variety of events.
  • Engage in site visits with potential clients to understand their needs and showcase our offerings.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities while ensuring clients receive the appropriate equipment to meet their goals.
  • Communicate effectively through phone and written correspondence to assess client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with hotel sales teams to generate leads for upcoming conventions and meetings.
  • Work in tandem with the audiovisual office to assist clients in selecting, reserving, and acquiring the necessary audiovisual equipment and services.
  • Utilize customized meeting diagrams and our computerized billing system to prepare and present detailed sales proposals, including pricing and labor estimates.
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with hotel sales and convention services personnel to minimize service challenges through proactive client consultation.
  • Maintain organized sales files to track all future bookings and client interactions.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with VIP and repeat hotel clients.
  • Participate in all site inspections and pre-and post-event meetings to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Review final billing with clients to secure approval for all audiovisual charges.
  • Follow up with clients through thank-you letters and post-event evaluations to gather feedback.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding operations, sales, and promotions.
  • Engage in additional related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the local market and effectively manage objections and competition.
  • Consistently pursue sales goals that exceed expectations.
Technical Expertise

Proficient in various audio equipment such as microphones, speakers, and sound systems, as well as video technology including LCD, LED, projectors, and screens. Advanced knowledge of PC and Mac software is essential.
