The Security Communication Coordinator is essential in ensuring effective communication between the casino and security personnel. Acting as the primary contact point, this role serves as a communication center, help desk, and reception for back-of-the-house operations. Interactions take place through various channels such as radio, telephone, and in-person visits, with a strong emphasis on guest interaction and customer service.

Job Overview:
  • Shifts typically run from 9 pm to 5:30 am (subject to change based on operational needs)

Schedule:

The Security Teams at Wind Creek Hospitality operate continuously, seven days a week. Shift assignments are based on organizational requirements, which may include weekends and holidays to fulfill operational demands.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to phone calls and radio communications for various needs, including medical emergencies and urgent situations
  • Manage radio network operations and direct responses according to established protocols
  • Confirm authorization for non-team member access to restricted areas
  • Oversee CCTV surveillance and manage lost and found items
  • Document incidents, maintain vehicle keys, and handle alarm systems effectively
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties during emergency situations
  • Execute other assigned responsibilities as needed
Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED is required; enrollment and completion of a GED program within six months may be considered
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years
  • Preferred experience in security dispatching, law enforcement, or corrections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with a required skills test pass rate of at least 70%
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a required skills test pass rate of at least 70%
  • Participation in a panel interview and realistic job preview is mandatory
  • Security incident and written skills assessments are required with a pass rate of at least 70%
  • Additional desirable qualities include customer service experience, TIPS and Title#31 certification, and flexibility in work hours
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License and work in a casino environment
