Position Summary:
We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Armed Site Supervisor Security Officer to become part of our organization. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in security management and leadership, with the capability to effectively oversee a team of security personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the duties of security officers, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and patrols to ensure a secure environment.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, incidents, and alarms, taking appropriate action and documenting reports.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to security operations and incidents.
- Train and guide security staff, ensuring compliance with high performance standards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Security Regulatory Certification is required.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated experience as a security officer or supervisor in a comparable role.
- Ability to safely and responsibly carry and utilize a firearm, with appropriate certification and training.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain composed and make prompt decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security management or a related field is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Capability to manage physical confrontations if necessary.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
