Position Summary:
TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams oversee every facet of a product's lifecycle, from spearheading new product innovations to overseeing manufacturing and marketing initiatives. They play a crucial role in shaping the overall product strategy, providing business leadership, and formulating capacity plans to achieve sales and profitability objectives.

The Data and Devices (D&D) division of TE Connectivity is seeking a Manager of Product Management to guide the Global Connector product team, with a focus on Cloud, IoT, and Edge applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan aimed at accelerating profitable growth for the product portfolio, ensuring effective communication and alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Engage with customers to gain insights into their strategies and product needs, driving internal development initiatives that align with those requirements.
- Identify and address significant trends that can serve as growth catalysts for tactical sales and new product line development.
- Lead a cross-functional team to successfully deliver major customer programs, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and technical specifications while meeting profit objectives.
- Create product roadmaps that align with business strategies and collaborate with engineering and operations to design new products that fulfill current and future customer demands.
- Manage the product portfolio lifecycle and consistently pursue initiatives to streamline and optimize the Product Portfolio. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, sales, or related fields.
- Relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in managing direct reports is essential.
- A 4-year degree in a technical or business discipline is required; an advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehend technically complex concepts.
- A creative and innovative mindset capable of contributing to the development of product strategies and business plans, with a proven ability to execute them.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- An experienced leader capable of influencing cross-functional teams and fostering strong internal and external relationships.
- Advanced presentation skills with the capability to communicate complex concepts effectively, ensuring understanding and acknowledgment of critical information throughout the organization.
