Job Summary

ProRec Resource Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operations Manager to lead our asphalt production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction and overall administration of asphalt plant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the asphalt production team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet production schedules and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and analyze financials, including monthly costs and budget processes, to optimize profitability and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring delivery of high-quality products and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with regulatory inspectors, management, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Work closely with the maintenance department to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve mix efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to grow sales volume, ASP, market share, and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping for site permits and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in the asphalt production industry.
  • Knowledge of asphalt plant equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Complete dedication to safety policies and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis to effectively plan and allocate resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
