Role Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will act as our Brand Ambassador, responsible for engaging with major retailers in the designated territory. This role involves merchandising, selling, maintaining product displays, reordering stock, and promoting both new and existing products to enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers. The position offers a flexible work schedule, including occasional weekend commitments during peak seasons.

Candidate Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales merchandising role within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in CPG.
  • Aiming for a full-time career in food sales.
  • Passionate about sales and in-store merchandising.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, drive for two hours, and walk throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits to 8-12 retail locations daily.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with grocery managers at assigned stores.
  • Ensure proper product placement on shelves in accordance with current merchandising standards.
  • Develop and implement in-store display features to promote products.
  • Utilize a tablet for managing product lines and sales activities in stores.
  • Serve as the Tony Chachere's Brand Ambassador to retail managers and consumers.
  • Maintain regular communication with supervisors and team members.
