Service Desk Support Specialist

Position Details:
As a member of our IT team, you will report to the IT Service Manager and be responsible for providing daily hands-on support to our end-users.
You will partner with internal users at all levels of the organization to resolve IT issues through documented procedures.
This is a non-exempt, full-time, on-site position located in our San Mateo office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service with a high level of communication to our staff
- Respond to IT issues and requests reported by end-users via Microsoft Teams chat, telephone, or email
- Support conference room technology for remote meetings using Zoom/Teams
- Perform general technical support and troubleshoot software, hardware, and cabling
- Install, move, add, change, and deprecate technical hardware
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or combination of 3 years related work experience
- Mac OS desktop and iOS device experience in a networked environment
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems in a domain environment
- Strong experience supporting Macs in an Active Directory environment
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office 365/Teams/Outlook for Windows and Mac
- Knowledge of Linux desktop and server platforms
- Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and configuring and troubleshooting VPN client software
- Ability to lift/move objects up to 50+ pounds required
