Job Summary

ENGEO Incorporated is seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to provide top-notch technical support to our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues, setting up new computer systems, and maintaining our computer asset inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to help desk requests in a timely and efficient manner
Work with internal employees to resolve technical issues
Analyze and troubleshoot computer, printer, software, hardware, and network-related issues
Set up new Windows 11 computers and install associated software applications
Perform computer hardware and software upgrades
Maintain computer asset inventory
Develop content to service users faster or promote self-service
Provide basic training on desktop applications to new staff
Create and maintain user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365
Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies

Requirements

Basic knowledge of network fundamentals, DHCP, and DNS
Basic knowledge of Active Directory
1-3 years of practical work experience in a computer-related corporate support role
2-year degree or certificate in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
MCP or MCSE Certification (preferred)
Experience with Windows 11, MS Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and Windows-based PC/laptop hardware
Experience with MS InTune or MS Defender a plus

Salary Description

Approximate hourly rate $32.00-$38.00
