Service Desk Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Technician to join our IT team at the Child Mind Institute. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our staff, ensuring seamless communication and rapid issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
- Respond promptly to IT issues and requests via Microsoft Teams chat, telephone, or email
- Support conference room technology for remote meetings using Zoom/Teams
- Perform general technical support, troubleshooting software, hardware, and cabling
- Install, move, add, change, and decommission technical hardware as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Mac OS desktops and iOS devices in a networked environment
- Support for Windows operating systems in a domain environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365/Teams/Outlook for Windows and Mac
- Knowledge of Linux desktop and server platforms
- Ability to lift/move objects up to 50+ pounds required
