Job Summary

The Loan Servicing Department at WaFd Bank has an exciting opportunity for a Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will support loan servicing functions, deliver exceptional customer service, and exercise quality control oversight in the execution of all duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring prompt and comprehensive support.
  • Prepare payoff quotes and process incoming payoff checks, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Prepare lien releases for real estate secured loans, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily insurance functions, ensuring accurate and consistent performance.
  • Conduct post-closing quality control on modified and newly funded loans, ensuring adherence to bank policies and procedures.
  • Assist the department with other daily functions, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines, prioritize tasks, and communicate status in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Regular, consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Experience in real estate lending processing and documentation is beneficial.
