About the Role

Zillow Home Loans is revolutionizing the mortgage experience by streamlining the home buying and selling process. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in helping customers achieve their dream of homeownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate mortgage loans and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage incoming calls from customers and provide timely follow-up and courteous professional correspondence
  • Establish and build relationships with customers and partners, including real estate agents
  • Analyze clients' needs to ensure compliance and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Consult with borrowers and guide them through the loan process from inquiry to close
  • Ensure successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training and Licensing activities
  • Understand and comply with current requirements of applicable federal and state laws and regulations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of available loan programs, including FHA, VA, Conventional, ARM, Jumbo, etc.
  • Successfully structure loans for fulfillment partners to underwrite, process, and fund
  • Collaborate with team members and share best practices
Requirements
  • Active NMLS Loan Originator with multiple state licenses, or a Loan Originator working under a bank license
  • Successfully completed the 20-hr SAFE Pre-licensing Education and passed the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test - National Component with Uniform State Content
  • 1+ years of mortgage sales experience
  • 2+ years of sales, call center, and customer service experience highly preferred
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Financial/business background preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Passionate about client relationships and consultative selling
  • Confident working in a phone sales environment and able to clearly and effectively communicate over phone, email, text, etc.
