Overview

California Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a seasoned nursing leader to join their collaborative leadership team as Chief Nursing Officer. This is a unique opportunity for a strong nurse leader to take the next step in their professional career or for an experienced CNO looking to join a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the administration of quality patient care and oversee the nursing staff to ensure the plan of care for the patient population.
  • Steer progressive clinical excellence through staff development and share responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment, and retention.
  • Implement company standards of care, policies, and procedures, and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Implement and monitor nursing scheduling to comply with required ratios and provide nursing care to patients when needed.

Qualifications

  • MSN or equivalent Master's in Healthcare or enrollment in a program required.
  • BSN required.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • Three to five years of acute nursing experience required, with three of these years in rehabilitation nursing preferred.
  • Three or more years of managerial or supervisory experience required.
  • CRRN required when eligible.

California Rehabilitation Institute is a 138-bed facility offering patients a higher degree of excellence in medical rehabilitation. Each patient has their own room and receives customized treatment plans based on their individual medical and therapy needs as they recover from various conditions, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and multiple traumas.
