Hiring Range: $75,285 - $91,246

Role Overview:

The Chief People Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization’s most vital asset - its workforce. This role involves the development and execution of policies and practices that foster a productive and satisfied team, which includes employees, volunteers, and participants in vocational training programs. The Chief People Officer will spearhead cultural initiatives, promote diversity and inclusion, and manage human resources functions.

Your key responsibilities as the Chief People Officer will include:
  • Leading the development and implementation of equity goals and strategies.
  • Collaborating with leadership to integrate diversity and inclusion practices into organizational operations.
  • Overseeing staff development and support initiatives.
  • Providing guidance on HR policies and procedures to managers and employees.
  • Managing compensation strategies and ensuring compliance with wage equity.

  • Implementing and managing human resource systems and practices.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date employee handbook that reflects current policies.

  • Supervising the Volunteer Manager and enhancing volunteer engagement strategies.
  • Overseeing vocational training participant engagement strategies.
  • Managing front office operations and staff.

Job Conditions:

This role involves working in various office settings and may require occasional lifting of materials up to 40 pounds. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary, including evenings and weekends.

Hybrid work arrangements may be available, subject to supervisory approval.
