Position: Construction Manager

About Us:

Apex Imaging Services specializes in comprehensive solutions for multi-site renovations, refreshes, and technology integration projects across various sectors including retail, dining, hospitality, and fuel services.

Role Overview:

The Construction Manager oversees the strategic planning, scheduling, resource distribution, financial management, and conceptual development of construction initiatives. This role includes managing budget forecasts, asset evaluation, and vendor relations throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, the Construction Manager provides technical guidance and ensures adherence to quality benchmarks.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Proven experience in program management within retail or asset management environments

- At least 7 years of experience in construction or pavement/asphalt projects

- Comprehensive understanding of financial management and budgeting processes

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee construction workflows, updating project management tools and presenting progress reports to upper management.

- Collaborate with site supervisors, project coordinators, and contractors to collect essential data for cost assessments.

- Lead a team of project coordinators, survey specialists, engineers, and contractors to achieve project objectives efficiently.

- Effectively communicate metrics and strategies, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences including senior leadership.

- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to provide the team with relevant cost information.

- Identify potential project risks and their financial implications, communicating these to the team.

- Monitor project spending and track budget discrepancies throughout the construction phase.

- Prepare consistent reports on project expenditures, budget conditions, and financial forecasts for stakeholders.

- Deliver outcomes while managing multiple projects with competing priorities consistently.
