Job Summary

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the strategic business direction of the hotel's operations. This includes overseeing the Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, and Engineering/Maintenance departments. The successful candidate will work closely with direct reports to develop and implement departmental strategies, ensuring alignment with the brand's service strategy and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement property-wide strategies to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of department heads to achieve operational excellence and meet brand standards.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the brand's business objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
  • Manage and conduct human resources activities, including employee development, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Champion the brand's service vision and ensure alignment among hotel leadership teams.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field, or 4-year degree in a related field with 2 years of experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in hotel operations, management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams, driving revenue growth, and improving guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Benefits

Marriott offers a competitive salary range of $188,000 to $245,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
