KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver Senior Systems Engineering and Technical Support for the Zero Trust Implementation.

The selected candidate will collaborate with existing ICAM capability teams to outline requirements, develop architectural frameworks, and create design documentation, conduct technology evaluations, and assist in risk mitigation assessments.

The candidate is expected to provide hands-on support for configuration management, assist with installation troubleshooting, and engage with cloud technologies.

Technical expertise in industry, federal, and DoD standards/policies is essential, along with the ability to create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation, including release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in alignment with Zero Trust mandates.

The candidate should be familiar with technologies such as REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, Nifi, and Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML).

Additional responsibilities include researching and analyzing cloud security environments, assisting with Risk Management Framework and DoD accreditation documentation, identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services, defining implementation processes, and outlining hardware and software considerations.

Support for software developers in tracking and defining requirements, sprint planning/scheduling, design input/changes, and testing support is also expected.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with software development methodologies
  • Ability to resolve complex system/integration challenges.
  • Experience presenting to senior-level management
  • Familiarity with AWS, Spring Boot, Java, Git, and microservices
  • Proven engineering experience on programs involving requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, and developing CONOPS and system architectures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Experience collaborating with Software Development, Test Engineers, and System Administration teams to establish capabilities that meet requirements.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in developing program review materials
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision and a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA
Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI Standards
