We are seeking a Lead Systems Architect (Sensor Operations) to join our team. This role involves providing systems engineering, program planning, and mission management support to our client's SIGINT sensor operations.


Key Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph.
  • Full-time commitment of 1880 hours annually, with work conducted at a client location.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and draft Concept of Operations documents, task schedules, and other planning documentation for team engineers and integrators.
  • Monitor project status and provide programmatic assistance to ensure successful project execution throughout its lifecycle.
  • Gather user requirements and conduct technical and programmatic analyses of proposed projects, offering alternative solutions and schedules for government consideration.
  • Investigate new technological advancements and liaise with vendors to provide informed recommendations to the government.
  • Support the transition of legacy systems to a unified sensor and data operations baseline, ensuring all system requirements are identified and allocated appropriately.
  • Maintain awareness of related sensor initiatives and systems across the organization, identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  • Provide management, support, and technical assistance related to project procurement, integration, sustainment, and testing of systems.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field with a minimum of 20 years of systems engineering experience; or a Master's degree/PhD with at least 18 years of experience; or a high school diploma/GED with 24 years of experience.
  • Ability to translate high-level requirements into functional specifications for systems solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and deploying SIGINT systems in collaboration with government clients and other agencies.
  • Proven skills in technical planning, systems integration, data verification, risk analysis, and supportability assessments for newly integrated systems.
  • Familiarity with SIGINT sensor systems and collection methods.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience overcoming technical and organizational challenges to achieve mission objectives.
  • Background in tactical SIGINT, particularly with SIGINT payloads on UAV platforms.
  • Experience in program transition and decommissioning planning.
  • Practical experience managing both programmatic and technical aspects of multiple ongoing SIGINT projects.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to represent projects to external organizations.
  • Ability to advocate for client positions while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of System Security Accreditation processes and standards.
  • Experience in hardware/software development, particularly with communication systems.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and a team-oriented mindset.
