What We Seek...
We are in search of a skilled engineer who will spearhead the efforts in Architecting, Engineering, Integration, Configuration, Operation, Administration, and Maintenance. In this role, you will face engaging challenges that require advanced root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and exceptional user technical support skills. You will be at the forefront of detection and optimization.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the infrastructure framework, performing essential system health checks, providing status updates, and conducting security monitoring and analysis. You will also manage audit log aggregation routing and reduction, ensuring the health status and metric monitoring of HPC. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining compliance frameworks.

This position transcends mere technical expertise; it emphasizes collaboration and innovation. You will work closely with our clients and key stakeholders, offering guidance on multifaceted approaches and developing effective use cases. Your expertise will be crucial in steering Systems Engineering technical considerations and modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Conduct systems engineering and software development in extensive enterprise server environments.
  • Provide technical direction in software engineering methodologies and automated support tools.
  • Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for operational activities.
  • Develop necessary program-level and user-level documentation.
  • Perform technical evaluations and analyses.
  • Assist the client in the development and maintenance of systems baseline.
  • Evaluate server loads and collaborate with technical leads to formulate tuning recommendations.
  • Deliver outstanding Linux Administration support.
  • Provide operational pager/phone duty support.
  • Execute daily operations and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage operating system software updates, upgrades, and patches.
Qualifications...
  • Proficiency in Linux, including Red Hat and its derivatives (CentOS, RHEL, RockyOS).
  • Experience in shell scripting and manipulating the Linux command line.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Linux Administration support.
  • Background in engineering infrastructure support.
  • A minimum of eleven (11) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Skills...
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, and PHP.
  • Experience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet Manifests, and Foreman).
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
