Maintenance Manager Job Description

At MonoSol LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing maintenance teams and ensuring the cost-effective, timely provision of maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Direction: Exemplify MonoSol's leadership behaviors, including living the values, taking action, and effective communication.
  • Operations Management: Manage a significant operational area for the organization.
  • Site Maintenance: Manage and deliver required site-maintenance services under the leadership of more senior colleagues.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Monitor and review performance against health, safety, and environment (HSE) key performance indicators (KPIs) and patterns of behavior within the area of responsibility.
  • Business Planning: Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans.
  • Performance Management: Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team.
  • Budgeting: Develop and/or deliver budget plans.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop new methods, tools, and programs for quality assurance.
  • Operational Compliance: Monitor and review performance and behaviors within the area of responsibility.
  • Organizational Capability Building: Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs.
  • Internal Communications: Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of internal communications.
  • Labor Relations: Manage labor relations in a unionized environment.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 12+ years' experience in a maintenance leadership role within an industrial environment.
  • Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.
  • TPM experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organizational, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Electrical and Mechanical systems and components in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance approach to Asset Management (CMRP certification a plus).
  • Hands-on experience in planning and overseeing maintenance operations.
  • 5+ years maintenance management/supervisory experience.
Additional Information:

This is a full-time in-office/on-site role, requiring all work to be performed on-site.
