Job Overview

Adecco Staffing is collaborating with a premier manufacturing facility seeking to onboard Production Associates for the 1st Shift. This role offers a pathway to permanent employment.

Position: Production Associate

Compensation: $17.00 to $17.25 per hour

Work Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role entails executing light secondary operations such as cleaning and washing components, deburring, buffing, TFE application, and basic machining tasks. The individual will ensure that these processes are carried out effectively while adhering to quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate under the general guidance of the department supervisor with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct light secondary tasks including deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of components.
  • Perform drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work, and basic machining.
  • Operate machinery in accordance with established processes and procedures, including the use of soap/detergent, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, and waste management.
  • Transfer materials and components between locations, ensuring proper loading into machinery.
  • Interpret blueprints and other technical documentation.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, including the removal of foreign materials.
  • Report any defective materials or unusual conditions to the supervisor.
  • Follow standard practices and procedures as outlined by company policy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to three years of experience in manufacturing or equivalent education and training.
  • Ability to perform various assembly and soldering tasks manually.
  • Good manual dexterity for handling small components.
