Position Overview:

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various initiatives aimed at guiding the product portfolio within a designated Line of Business throughout its lifecycle. This position involves close collaboration with Marketing & Innovation leaders in the US and Canada, as well as cross-functional technical teams, to ensure seamless integration across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary liaison representing Supply Chain interests to Business Unit leadership and establish strong relationships with NPD/NPI, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams.
  • Facilitate the EBP Step 1 process for the specific Business Unit in North America.
  • Contribute significantly to business growth by ensuring successful execution of New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Conduct analysis and reporting to inform data-driven decisions throughout the NPD Stage & Gate process, from Manufacturing Strategy Review to product launch.
  • Identify and escalate key Supply Chain impacts and risks, focusing on:
    • Achieving a 10% reduction in Finished Goods SLOB for the year.
    • Providing portfolio management insights for all new product introductions and managing transitions to minimize SLOB creation.
    • Overseeing discontinuation processes to manage customer reclamations effectively.
    • Mitigating non-working trade costs through improved planning.
    • Leading initiatives aimed at optimizing the product portfolio across various lifecycle stages.
  • Manage all projects within the Business Unit, including innovations and cost-saving initiatives, ensuring effective execution by cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success, aligning with commercial teams as necessary.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the team to foster collaboration.
  • Serve as the Supply Chain representative in any product changes throughout the end-to-end 'Go to Market' process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Finance), Business Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, or Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI and SAP/ERP systems.
  • Experience in process improvement and mapping.
  • Understanding of Product Lifecycle and Portfolio Management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from data to drive business improvements.

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily office-based, with potential for remote work arrangements.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

The salary range for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additional compensation may include performance-linked incentives.
