Business Development Manager

The Residential Business Development Manager is a key position at Jack Laurie Group, responsible for developing relationships with local residential prospects to gain their flooring business. This involves prospecting new potential designers and maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing accounts.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable with cold calls and drop-ins to build their customer base. They must be able to manage a CRM and meet weekly goals for calls, meetings, and connections. They will need to work independently and manage the sales process through strong communications skills and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the residential business
- Build and maintain relationships with residential designers and architects
- Manage a CRM to track sales activities and performance
- Meet weekly sales goals and targets
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
- Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
- Extensive knowledge of interiors products, equipment, operations, and materials
- Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate long and short-range goals
- College degree preferred
- Background check with no issues
- Travel required to cover markets throughout Indiana
