Job Summary

The Front Desk Coordinator is a key member of our healthcare team, serving as the first point of contact for patients and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and provide a positive first impression of our healthcare organization
  • Collect co-pays and process payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Process authorizations and referrals
  • Provide administrative support to physicians and staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a large complex healthcare setting
  • Strong problem-solving ability and excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Teams
  • Ability to work in an interactive environment and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPIC experience
  • Multi-specialty clinic experience
  • Referrals and authorizations experience
Special Conditions
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $68,883 - $68,883 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $32.99

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
