Front Desk Coordinator

The Front Desk Coordinator is a key member of our healthcare team, serving as the first point of contact for patients and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and provide a positive first impression of our healthcare organization
- Collect co-pays and process payments in a timely and efficient manner
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Process authorizations and referrals
- Provide administrative support to physicians and staff
- Minimum of three years of experience in a large complex healthcare setting
- Strong problem-solving ability and excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Ability to work in an interactive environment and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
- EPIC experience
- Multi-specialty clinic experience
- Referrals and authorizations experience
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $68,883 - $68,883 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $32.99
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
