About the Front Desk Coordinator Role

Vets Hired is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and effective responses to patient inquiries, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients and clients.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, clients, and internal stakeholders, communicating clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues promptly, using sound judgment and discretion.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Three years of related experience in a large complex healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of third-party payors, including federal, state, and private health plans.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in an interactive environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual: Highly preferred bilingual Spanish.
  • Healthcare Experience: Experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using EPIC Cadence, FinancialLink, TravelLink, and BLINK.
Special Conditions:
  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work various hours and locations, including weekends and evenings.
  • Criminal Background Check: Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
