The Records Management Specialist plays a vital role in facilitating the operations of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). This permanent, full-time position encompasses a variety of responsibilities:

  • Overseeing file operations and upkeep, including file storage, organization, and consolidations,
  • Updating federal systems,
  • Conducting audits of file storage areas within the organization,
  • Linking correspondence to archived files, digitizing documents,
  • Filing duplicates of certificates and notifications,
  • Assisting in the processing of forms and applications,
  • Performing other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required,
  • Capability to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance,
  • Proficient in English,
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 lbs., and perform tasks in a physical environment,
  • Willingness to bend, stoop, climb, and reach as needed.
