Medical Records Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Specialist to provide exceptional support to our attorneys' business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical medical records
- Update patients' electronic health records (EHR) with precision and attention to detail
- Respond to requests for medical records in a timely and professional manner
- Validate requests and authorizations for the release of medical information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation of services provided, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity
- Prepare charts for patient visits, ensuring all necessary information is included
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on medical terminology and records management
- Previous experience in medical records, with a focus on electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in medical software and systems
- Bilingual ability (English and Spanish) a plus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
